Here’s an effective way to go about contacting your MP:

Before your visit

Write a letter to your MP (or Senator or election candidate). Either post it or drop it in to their office. This means they need to register it. If you send it by email, the filters are likely to block it from the MP/Senator receiving it. To help with this, we’ve provided:

• You can post your letter (which is far more effective than emailing it) but most effective is to talk to your MP/Senator or election candidate in person.
• Make an appointment to see your MP/Senator or election candidate

At your MP’s (or Senator’s or election candidate’s or WHIP’s or Shadow Minister’s) office

• Ask for your letter to be receipted and keep a copy for yourself.
• Hand your MP (or Senator or election candidate) your letter and a copy of the 7 Reasons why Australians MUST say: I DO NOT CONSENT!
• Then open your laptop and show your MP the 7-minute talk by lawyer Libby Klein on the treaties and how they will affect Australians.
• Ask your MP to take your concerns back to the party room, especially if he/she votes along party lines.

There’s every chance your MP (or Senator or election candidate) will know far more when you leave the office than he or she did before you arrived.

Encourage other people in your family or neighbourhood to write letters and to visit politicians and candidates, too.

2024 Amendments to International Health Regulations (2005) (IHRs) and the Pandemic Agreement (2025)

I am writing to advise you that I DO NOT CONSENT to the provisions of two WHO treaties: 2024 Amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005)[i] and the Pandemic Agreement (2025)[ii] for the following reasons.

1.       The treaties will cost Australia billions of dollars annually.

2.       They allow authorities to restrict Australians’ freedom by:

• imposing lockdowns
• enforcing travel restrictions
• censoring scientific debate
• incarcerating Australians
• imposing medical treatments on Australians and
• implementing any other measure the WHO deems appropriate.

3.       They allow authorities to mandate the taking of pharmaceutical drugs and genetic treatments, whether or not they have been proven to work, are necessary or Australians want them.

4.       They were developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), which allows pharmaceutical interests to influence global health policy.[iii]

• WHO offers investors a 3,400% return.
• WHO accepts money directly from pharmaceutical companies, contrary to its Guidelines.
• WHO accepts money from pro-pharmaceutical businesses and organisations, contrary to its Guidelines.
• WHO allows donors to stipulate how the WHO is to use their funds.
• WHO accepted $2,798,329,167 in donor-influenced funding from the WHO’s top-100 voluntary donors alone in 2022-23.
• WHO cannot act in favour of both corporate interests and public health.

5.       WHO and the pharmaceutical industry are indemnified to protect themselves, but not the public, from harm caused by their products.[iv]

6.       Australians suffered from the WHO’S approach to managing global health during Covid-19 which led to:

• business closures
• job losses
• school closures and learning setbacks
• economic loss
• mental health problems and suicide
• domestic violence
• massive government expenditure, inflation and increased cost-of-living.[v]

7.       Countries that recently withdrew from the WHO are Argentina and the US, whose Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy, said, ‘Like many legacy institutions, the WHO has become mired in bureaucratic bloat, entrenched paradigms, conflicts of interest, and international power politics’.[vi]

I respectfully request that you keep this non-consent on record and advise the Prime Minister of my decision.

What's all this about the WHO?

New treaties supported by the Australian government will negatively impact our lives.

These two documents are called the 2024 International Health Regulations and the Pandemic Agreement and will cause:

Physical harm

Why you should take action to protect yourself NOW

If Australians do not tell the Government ‘I DO NOT CONSENT’ to two new treaties from the WHO, the Government will take their consent for granted. Together these treaties – 2024 Amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005)[1] and the Pandemic Agreement (2025)[2] – will cost us dearly.

7 Reasons why Australia MUST say I DO NOT CONSENT

Social media is a very effective vehicle for sharing information that many of us already use.

To engage people about the WHO treaties and what they mean for Australia, here are some suggestions.

• Think about how you can invite discussion rather than giving information. A good strategy is to ask open questions that invite different views, eg:
  • I’ve received this leaflet in my letterbox. [screenshot] Has anybody else received one, too? What do you think about this?
• Do be respectful. Respond to people as if you were speaking to them face-to-face.
• Do remember many Australians are scarred, disoriented, and anxious because of what has happened over the past few years. Show compassion.
• Don’t come from a place of having all the answers and wanting to give them to people. Better to come from a place of sharing and understanding.
  • I see what you mean. But have you thought about…
• Try to keep the conversation going.
• Don’t give anyone the excuse to censor you.

Insert your address and today’s date

Dear <insert name of your MP/senator/candidate etc>

Let them know you are a voter in this electorate.

Tell them that you are concerned about the consequences of two documents that, if they come into force in Australia, will severely affect our health, our economy and our democratic rights.

These are:

• the 2024 International Health Regulations (2024 IHRs); and
• the Pandemic Agreement agreed to at the 78th World Health Assembly in May 2025.

Explain that the 2024 International Health Regulations were approved by Minister Mark Butler and are due to come into effect on the 19th of September 2025, unless the Australian government rejects them by the 19th of July 2025.

Say that you are also concerned that Minister Butler has signed the Pandemic Agreement in May 2025.

Explain that these documents, once implemented in Australia, will create enormous hardship for Australians and have the potential to destroy life in this country as we know it, whenever the WHO deems a “health” emergency or potential health emergency, warrants its intervention.

Say that the provisions of these documents do not benefit Australians, but they do benefit Big Business and the pharmaceutical companies.

You can refer them to the report of the US ‘Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic’, following a two-year investigation that concluded that:

• ‘The WHO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was an abject failure because it caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party and placed China’s political interests ahead of its international duties. Further, the WHO’s newest effort to solve the problems exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic — via a “Pandemic Treaty” — may harm the United States.’
• ‘Contrary to what was promised, the COVID-19 vaccine did not stop the spread or transmission of the virus.’
• ‘Public health officials engaged in a coordinated effort to ignore natural immunity — which is acquired through previous COVID-19 infection — when developing vaccine guidance and mandates.’
• Ask your MP to stop this from happening. Say that you will not be voting for any candidate who does not oppose these documents.
