The Faces of Net Zero – Real [Aussie] stories on the devastating impact of renewable energy
Australia’s farmers are being steamrolled by governments into meeting the net zero demands of inner-city elites and the political class. The Institute of Public Affairs’, Faces of Net Zero, brings to life the powerful stories of farmers in Victoria’s Mallee region fighting to save their farms, their livelihoods and their communities. Renewable energy projects are dividing regional communities – pitting neighbour against neighbour. The rights of property owners and farmers are being extinguished, as renewable energy projects destroy our prime agricultural land. Worse still, new laws are removing a farmer’s right to stop their land from being destroyed, as well as who they can prevent from entering their farm, which is also their home.
Net zero risks our critical agricultural sector and threatens Australia’s energy security.
